Frequently Asked Questions
- Lap not detected? — Ensure GPS is enabled and you're outdoors with a clear sky view.
- Heart rate not showing? — Make sure Apple Watch is worn and HealthKit access is granted in Settings.
- Sessions not syncing? — Keep iPhone and Watch nearby with Bluetooth enabled.
- What is included in the 30-day Trackday Trial? — The free trial includes full GPS lap timing, Apple Watch telemetry, CIS/BRC/CRT automatic circuit detection, Test Mode, route logging, and leaderboard uploads.
- What happens when the trial expires? — Lap timing is locked and trial leaderboard entries may be hidden. The ₱999 one-time Full Unlock restores timing and leaderboard visibility.
- What is included in the Full Unlock? — The ₱999 one-time purchase keeps GPS lap timing, leaderboard visibility, session history, Test Mode, session exports, and Apple Watch timing available after the trial.
- Where are Pro features? — Live pit wall, ghost lap, sector timing, and advanced telemetry are planned advanced features. The current public offer is the 30-day trial and one-time LapTimer unlock.
- Leaderboard lap missing? — Trial laps are visible during the trial. After expiry, leaderboard entries may be hidden until the full version is unlocked.
- App crashes on launch? — Try restarting the app and ensure your iOS is up to date.
- How to delete my account? — Go to Profile tab → scroll down → tap "Delete Account".
Privacy & Data
AKSYS LapTimer uses GPS location, motion sensors, and Apple HealthKit heart rate when permission is granted. Session and leaderboard data is stored in Firebase and is never sold to third parties.
